LEGAL NOTICE TO BIDDERS


NOTICE is hereby given that SEALED BIDS will be received by the County College of Morris (College) in connection with a single overall contract for: Bid B2425-47KT Collection and Disposal of Garbage and Refuse in accordance with the specifications.

BID documents may be requested after 9:00 a.m. on or after Monday, April 14, 2025 by visiting our website at www.ccm.edu and following the link titled Vendor Opportunities. A PDF version of the BID documents will be sent electronically upon request.
BID DOCUMENTS WILL NOT BE FAXED TO PERSPECTIVE BIDDERS.

SEALED BIDS may be hand-delivered or sent via U.S. Mail or an express service to the Purchasing Dept. County College of Morris, Henderson Hall, Room 102 until 1:00 PM prevailing time on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at which time all Bids will be publicly opened and read. All bids shall be submitted on the bid proposal form in the bid specifications and must conform to the terms and conditions set forth therein. Bids received after the opening time will be rejected.
NO BIDS WILL BE ACCEPTED BY E-MAIL OR FACSIMILE TRANSMISSION:

Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of the Division of Contract Compliance & EEO N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq., N.J.A.C. 17-27-5.2 which requires disclosure of stockholder(s) and partnership name(s), and P.L. 2009, c 315 New Jersey Business Registration requirements. All requirements are fully detailed in the bid documents. In addition, each bidder shall also be registered pursuant to the Public Works Contractor Registration Act, N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.48 et seq. and is requested to provide a valid current contractor registration certificate with its bid.

The right is reserved to waive any or all informalities in, or to reject any or all bids submitted, and to make awards in the best interest of the County College of Morris. Prices quoted must include all freight and/or delivery charges and installation. Bids must conform to the specifications and only conforming bids from qualified contractors will be accepted.

Persons or firms bidding on equipment which requires installation by the contractor are advised that provisions of Chapter 150, Laws of 1963 (NJ Prevailing Wage Act) will apply to and be part of all such contracts (if applicable).
